Plain Language
How the fees work.
There are two fees at CrownBorn, and they do different jobs.
The $800 Administration Fee
One-time. Paid first, by everyone entering a CrownBorn engagement. It is the application fee on a house you intend to live in.
It covers your welcome kit, your enrollment in our system, your access to the IAMCROWNBORN portal, and your first assessment — the conversation where we identify the one area to begin with and issue your written proposal.
It does not pay for your engagement. Your engagement price is published above, before you pay a dollar.
The $2,500 Technology Infrastructure Fee
This is not an administrative charge. It is what it costs to build something on CrownBorn systems and keep it held there.
It is already included in the Companion and Sovereign Levels. It is not charged on the Blueprint Level, because there we hand you the architecture and host nothing.
You will never be asked to pay a fee you have not already seen on this page.

Your engagement is customized to the actual condition of your business. Depending on what the assessment surfaces, it may examine any of the following.

Offer Architecture

Pay the $800 Administration Fee. You are enrolled, your welcome kit ships, your portal access opens, and your first assessment is scheduled.

Initial assessment
We look at the business together and identify the one area to begin with. We always begin with one. You receive a written proposal confirming scope, schedule, and final investment.

Strategic examination
CrownBorn studies the business as a connected system rather than treating each problem in isolation. A website problem is often an offer problem. A sales problem is often a positioning problem. We look for the pattern beneath the symptoms.

Working session
An intensive session to examine the findings, make the key decisions, and set the path. We are not discussing possibilities. We are determining priorities.

Delivery
You receive your architecture and prioritized execution plan. From there you implement it yourself, hand it to your team, or continue at the level you selected.

Why is there an $800 fee on top of the engagement price?
Because real work begins the moment you enter. The $800 covers your welcome kit, your enrollment, your portal access, and your first assessment — the session that produces your written proposal. It is a one-time fee, and it is the same for everyone regardless of which level you choose.
Do I have to pay the $800 before I know what my engagement costs?
No. All three prices, timelines, and inclusions are published on this page. You know your total before you pay anything.
Is this a business plan?
No. A business plan documents what a company intends to do. Better Business Becoming™ examines what the business is actually doing, where the structure is misaligned, and what must be designed or corrected next. It is a decision and execution document.
Is this coaching?
No. The process includes deep strategic questioning, but it is not motivational or personal coaching. CrownBorn examines the business, identifies structural patterns, develops recommendations, and establishes an actionable path.
Is this only for new businesses?
No. It supports early-stage founders establishing the right foundation, and it is equally valuable for established businesses facing growth, transition, complexity, repositioning, founder dependency, or operational strain.
Can organizations, nonprofits, or internal teams use it?
Yes. It may be designed for a founder-led company, a nonprofit, a department, a leadership team, a program, or an initiative preparing for meaningful change.
Do you build the recommendations for me?
That is the difference between the three levels. Blueprint hands you the architecture. Companion implements it alongside you. Sovereign builds it and then prepares you to operate it.
Will CrownBorn sign a confidentiality agreement?
Yes. Confidentiality is addressed during the proposal and contracting process, before any material is shared.
Do you guarantee revenue or business results?
No. CrownBorn provides strategic analysis, architecture, recommendations, and — when separately engaged — implementation. Results depend on leadership decisions, execution, market conditions, organizational capacity, and client participation.
Is payment available in installments?
Payment structure is included in your individual proposal. Work begins after the agreement is signed and the required initial payment is complete.
What is your refund policy?
See the Refund Policy. In short: the $800 Administration Fee is refundable in full if you request it in writing within 72 hours and before your welcome kit ships and your assessment is scheduled. After that point, work has begun. Engagement fees are governed by your signed agreement.
